Hey there! My name is Josie, owner of 'The Chicken and The Egg!' I'm all about helping mums and bubs crack the code to getting the best nutrition possible. From preconception to introducing baby's first first foods, I understand the importance of good nutrition and the impact that it can have on long-term health.

Whether you're a new mum looking to establish healthy eating habits for your baby, or a seasoned pro seeking guidance on how to maintain a balanced diet while breastfeeding, I'm here to help!

Pre- and Postnatal Dietitian (APD)

my experience

  • Studied my undergraduate degree in Medical and Health Sciences, then a Masters in Nutrition and Dietetic Practice​

​

  • Completed additional training in preconception and fertility nutrition, pregnancy nutrition, and infant feeding​​​

​

  • Have worked in private practice with a diverse group of clientele, and in my own practice with more specific and complex cases​​

​

  • Prior to becoming a dietitian, I worked for 7 years as a disability support worker and teacher's aide for children with Autism, where I worked with many dietitians, occupational therapists and speech pathologists to help implement feeding and nutrition strategies.​

​

  • Have had my own personal experience with preconception, pregnancy, breastfeeding and infant feeding as a mum of a gorgeous little boy
